About me

Who am I?

My life storry is about the epoche 2-3rd Millenium, which is described as cold war and end of it. I was born in previous socialistic country Czechoslovakia in Bratislava 1950.   In 1989 I established  Verejnosť proti násiliu (Community Against Violence) in Piestany helping change regime without bloodshed. Last 25 years as founder of 1st non-governmental org. in Slovakia (December 1989, registered in March 1990) I have been helping to transform our society into pluralistic one, with respect to other nations, ethnics,  cultures, faiths, minorities.

It was hard time because of totalitarian regime where people were persecuted for their world view, faiths, opinions, convictions, criticism. So, majority verbalized  sentences were quite another than inner convinctions. And people were majority of  the time afraid of various kinds of punishments. Among people were a lot of spys, secret policemen. And we lived behind „iron curtain“. No true news in the newspaper, T.V. no freedom, no free choice of the lifestyles, job, study. We often heard that workers and farmers should fight others. And fighting didn´t bring peace, dignity.  We were ashamed to introduce  us  as Slovaks, under dictate of communists, Soviets.

In such situation since my 17 years I prefered develop inner richness and to study psychology and philosophy, social and human sciences, ancient Vedas under the guidance of best teachers as PhDr. Eduard Urban, founder of psychotherapy in previous Czechoslovakia, and Psychology of Religions in Prague Charles University after Fall down of Totalitarian Regime with its ateism. . Knowing more about myself  I turned from ateism into idealism in my 17 years old and since that time I have been helping  others widen their horizon bridging West and East way of thinking, living  through intercultural learning based on non-formal education. My first spiritual teachers were my school teachers in Prague Charles University.. After Dubchek era Psychology there were focused on West, especially American psychological streams.

During Prague spring in 1968-69 our social situation and mental life conditions little bit improved, we could write and talk openly, sincerely. But after invasion of Soviet army to Czechoslovakia the life conditions became worse. That time I met in Prague JUDr. Eduard Tomas with his wife Mila and their spiritual friends and I received good ground for psycho-spiritual upliftment.

Even during darkness of that time we suceeded  keep straight our spine and strengten spiritual awareness. In 1985 we created more „islands of positive energy in Czechoslovakia“ and with the cooperation of other spiritual masters and teachers from India, Europe, Canada, USA, etc. we have been running several sustainable spiritual activities till today to Exchange good practices and move forward. (included the greatest events and activities). For example:

  • project „Innovation of Rehabilitation through Yoga“ in all Slovak Spas, (1985 – 1988 with the research work)
  • project „ New Streams in Pedagogy – Yoga“ implemented in Pedagogical Faculty Nitra and Medacta. Later in other schools. (1985 – 2000)
  • Foundation of Czechoslovak Vegetarian Union in Sept. 1989 in Pieštany (Town cultural Centre).
  • Etc.

We made great progress thanks for the help and cooperations with the spiritual teachers .

In 1990 Anna Galovičova as first Slovak woman completed teaching „Transmittion of Enlightment“ by H.H. Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. In 1990 our Society published 1st Dalai Lama´s book  „Opening of the Wisdom Eye“ in middle Europe and became the member of Tibet Support Group guided by Richard Gere. In 2000 we invited H.H. He became  the member of Star team in Kazachstan, chosen among 500 000 participants for astronautic training from whole Europe among 15 persons.

David, hockey player during his childhood, and youth succesfully representing Slovakia in several Championships in Canada, USA, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria  finished MBA (Seattle University) and Economic University in Prague. He became bussinesman working in IBM,  Mediprogress in Piestany. Both sons are spiritual ones and helpfull ones.

In 2014 she became Ambassador of World Parliament of Religions and responsible for multifaith movement in Slovakia, Pre Parliament Event and for preparation to host WPR in 2017 in Bratislava.

During her life she met closely several holy masters and under their guidance she became aware of interconnectedness, interdependency -  Unity in Variety and Variety in Unity. Though born as Christian, follower of Jesus , as psychologist she deeply penetrated into other spiritual teachings,  the source of Spirituality, of „Cosmic I“ sharing her wisdom with others. Her effort is focused to monatropism – one human family, to help all of us identify as humans, reclaiming the heart of our humanity,  and avoid all kind of subhuman behavior (promiscuite, alcoholism, drug dependency, conformism, extremism, violence following „law of jungle“, etc.)
